The Pouring Chalice with pouring lip will contain approximately 10 to 12 oz. and is about 8.5" high. Traditionally the wine is blessed and can then be poured into small communion cups, providing a means of serving with less physical contact. Paten is approximately 9.5" in diameter. For successful pouring, PLEASE FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS ENCLOSED WITH YOUR ORDER.

From ELCA Worship Resources regarding the Pouring Chalice use -
If congregations use individual glasses, it is advised to pour during distribution rather than pre-filling them. As stated in The Sunday Assembly: “This practice will maintain the symbol of the cup, make the altar less crowded, make caring for what is left over much easier and more reverent, and actually result in a healthier practice than is possible with pre-filled glasses.”

From one of our customers during COVID crisis: "I received my order of two pouring chalices (Spirit) today. Absolutely love them! I've been searching for months to find an appropriate, reverent way to resume communion at our church. This is our answer! We have decided to begin offering Eucharistic (finally) on Maundy Thursday. I'm so happy I found you! Thank you!!"

And another: "I've been meaning these many months to say how happy I am with the pouring chalices; haven't spilled a drop since we were allowed to resume communion last Easter. Good work!"
